Saltwick Bay Coffee (Decaf)

Description

Saltwick Bay is our Sugarcane Decaf. A light roast that's wonderfully sweet, bright and full of flavour, with notes of wild honey, orange, butterscotch, caramelised sugar and malty biscuit. 

Smooth and balanced with plenty of character, Saltwick Bay is delicious brewed as Filter, Cafetière or Espresso. Decaf, with no compromises on flavour.

Named after the beautiful Saltwick Bay on the North Yorkshire coast, just a five-minute walk from our roastery. Grown in Colombia, roasted in Yorkshire, inspired by our beautiful coastline.

COFFEE ORIGINS

Grown high in the Meseta de Popayán, Cauca, between 1,500 and 2,000 metres, Saltwick Bay combines Castillo, Variedad Colombia and Caturra from around 65 smallholder growers.

The coffee is washed and patio-dried for more than 20 days before being decaffeinated at origin using the E.A. Sugarcane process. Using E.A. derived from locally produced sugarcane, the process gently removes the caffeine while preserving the coffee’s natural sweetness and flavour clarity.
