Description
The CHEMEX® FS-100 filter papers are designed to be used with the CHEMEX® 6 Cup Classic Coffee Filter but will fit most other cone-shaped filter coffeemakers, and will help create a smooth clean cup of coffee.
The papers are 20-30% thicker than non CHEMEX® filter papers and the conical shape of the filter makes for an even extraction so any bitterness and coffee grounds are kept out of your cup.
Brewing Tips
Wet the filter paper with hot water before adding any coffee to take away the papery taste, then discard the water. Add your ground coffee (fine or filter grind) and pour over just enough hot (not boiling) water to wet the ground. Wait for 1 minute to let the coffee swell and bloom, then slowly pour over the rest of the water in a circular motion.
