Simply unscrew the top half of the pot, remove the filter and fill the lower half with water. Then spoon your favourite ground coffee into the filter. Place on the stove and as the water boils it will percolate through the grounds to the top of the pot.
The flavour will be better if you don’t use more heat than is necessary. Try to remove the pot from the heat just before the water stops coming up the spout inside to avoid scalding the grounds at the end. Always leave the two parts separate until they are completely dry after washing. This will prolong the life of the filter gasket.
