We’ve been brewing up something a bit different — and we’re finally ready to share it with you.
Say hello to our brand new summer collab: a Bluezy Breakfast Hard Kombucha, created with the brilliant folks at Stiff Tea. It’s a light, fruity mix of Stiff Tea’s blueberry and coconut kombucha, blended with our own cold brew from Albion Street coffee, coming in at a refreshing 4.8% ABV. Basically, it’s a summery drink with a bit of a kick — easygoing, flavourful, and perfect for sunny afternoons (or pretending it’s sunny, at least).

This is something completely new for us at Baytown, and working with Zach — who’s recently set up Stiff Tea in Manchester — has been a real joy. The whole thing came together out of a shared love for good taste, a bit of silliness, and the idea that drinks should be fun and full of character.
Last Wednesday, me and Ted caught the early train from Scarborough and headed over to Manchester to meet Zach at his site. We tasted loads of his kombucha (all excellent), brewed some Albion Street cold brew, and started experimenting. The base kombucha had this bright pink hue and loads of flavour — and when we combined it with the coffee, we knew we were onto something good.

Even before fermentation had finished and before the fizz kicked in, it already tasted great. We’ve got a feeling this is going to be the drink of the summer.
And if you want to be among the first to try it — we’ve got news. We’re bringing samples to the Fish & Ships Festival in Whitby on May 17th–18th, from around 10am to 5pm both days. You’ll find us in the music tent on the Marine Car Park, just down from the Co-op. Come say hello, grab a taster (or a few), and let’s get boozey blue.
See you there,
Brooke and the Baytown team x
